The following spreadsheet gives a quick snapshot of the preliminary 2008 assessed value per the Collin CAD website. You will see a two year history of values. At the bottom you will see the "executive suite" of the upcoming "B-Hotel" which is currently occupied by Mr. Blackard. I have spoke to several people that have looked into building a residence in Adriatica, and the typical cost per square to build without extensive upgrades has been quoted at $200 PSF. Interestingly enough Mr. Blackard's residence is currently assessed at $176 PSF on the structure. I suppose this may be his "cost" to build the home without any builders markup. Once again these are preliminary numbers and most likely will change when the certified values are set in July. It appears that the Collin CAD continues to increase values even in the current down market that we are in. Have any stories in regards to your 2008 assessment from the Collin CAD?
