Dozens of wines from 12 North Texas vintners will share the spotlight with musical entertainment this weekend in downtown McKinney.The annual Art & Jazz Festival is the kickoff event for the new Munson Wine Trail. Named for a renowned Denison horticulturalist, the trail includes a growing group of wineries from Allen to the Red River. Frisco, Ivanhoe, Prosper, Princeton, Rockwall and Whitewright all have wineries. Bob Landon owns Landon Winery on the Square in downtown McKinney, which is hosting the event along with the downtown McKinney-based Lone Star Wine Cellars. More....
