WASHINGTON (AP) - Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE:GWF) (NYSE:JWF) (NYSE:WSF) (NYSE:WPF) (NYSE:WFC) has won federal approval to open a new bank branch, a government agency said.
The Treasury Department's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said in a weekly bulletin, released Wednesday, that Wells Fargo's request to open the branch was approved March 11.
The branch will be in Vail, Ariz.
The agency also said that Wells Fargo requested approval for three more branches March 7. If approved, those branches would be located in: Novato, Calif.; McKinney, Texas; and Dallas. More....
