In prior postings (link) I discussed the now defunct Hank Haney Golf Ranch on Custer Road. The Collin CAD bumped the 2007 assessed value from $5,300,00 to $10,000,000. The property was appealed in the 2007 ARB process and the value ended up at $5,391,000. The result of the value being lowered equates to a tax savings of about $136,000 for the owner.
