The Londoner could be soon selling alcoholic beverages again as the restaurant and pub could get its private member club permit from the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission.Restaurant manager Barry Tate, of McKinney, said he expected to get the private member club permit next week. The permit will require customers who wish to drink alcoholic beverages to have a Unicard from the TABC in Austin sometime next week. The Londoner learned its permit was not renewed by the TABC on June 14, Tate said. Since then the restaurant and pub has not sold any alcoholic beverages because its revenue was more than 50 percent from alcoholic beverages sales, Tate said. Story...........
